Domestic Payment Options



EFTPOS (at the cashier), Direct Credit, Credit Card (Mastercard or Visa only). Only domestic students can pay by student loan

Please note: International students cannot pay by instalment or student loan.


Payments in person can be made at the Cashiers desk on the ground floor of the George Forbes Memorial Building. Please note that we do not accept cash.

Payment reference for tuition: Your Student ID, TUITION and Surname

Students can make credit card payments by logging into the Lincoln University student administration system LUCAS

Western Union GlobalPay for Students payment portal is LU’s preferred payment method for international students. It makes it easier for you to pay your NZD student fees, tuition, accommodation and insurance fees using your home currency or another international currency. You can pay from your bank account with a telegraphic transfer or use a credit card or other means of payment options for certain currencies.


To pay your fees using WU GlobalPay:

  1. Open the Western Union Global Pay for Students payment portal and follow the instructions. Make sure you enter your full name and LU student ID.
  2. Western Union will email you a Funds Transfer Confirmation. The exchange rate on the confirmation remains fixed for 72 hours.
  3. Arrange a transfer of funds from your bank (or other forms of payment) to the Western Union partner or Custom House bank listed on your Funds Transfer Confirmation.
  4. On receipt of funds, the Western Union partner or Custom House bank makes a payment to LU and you will receive an email confirmation when this is complete.

If you are not able to use the Western Union Business Solutions payment portal and need to make your payment from an International bank account, you can make payment via telegraphic transfer to the Lincoln University bank account:
