Marion Dumaine, Master of Science (Research)
Marion’s work on effluent could help save our waterways.
Careful effluent application is essential to maintaining food production and protecting the environment. Marion Dumaine is one of many scientists looking at how we could improve effluent application to balance to protect our waterways.
Her Master of Science research found iron sulphate usage could be reduced without compromising production efficiency.
Her findings could prevent further contamination of our waterways, while being cost efficient for farmers. Marion now works as an environmental consultant for Agri Intel.
