Greater Christchurch 2050: What’s your vision?

10 November 2021 | Events

Lincoln University is partnering with B.linc, industry and the community to facilitate ideas for a new spatial plan that includes Christchurch and surrounding towns.

A half-day hackathon, held at the B.linc Workshop on campus on Wednesday November 10 from 9.30am to 12.30pm, will allow Lincoln University students and staff to share their vision for the spatial plan, which is being developed by the Greater Christchurch Partnership.

The plan is the first step in implementing Greater Christchurch 2050, a strategy for delivering intergenerational wellbeing in the area.

The hackathon will be facilitated by specialists from the Greater Christchurch Partnership, in collaboration with B.linc and Lincoln University’s Living Laboratory.

The Living Laboratory creates a practical environment where students use resources on campus and work with external partners to explore, test and solve real-world problems in the land-based sectors.

For more information and to register, see the B.linc website. Please note that places at the event are limited.
