Getting to Lincoln
There are lots of options available:
Shuttle services

Public transport
The main bus stop is outside the Forbes building by the Gate 1 campus entrance. See metroinfo.co.nz for full service and timetable info. Catch the 80 to Lincoln Township and Christchurch Bus Interchange or 820 to Rolleston and Springston.
Your own vehicle
If you are bringing your electric vehicle to Hui Whakatuwhera Open Day we have car charging stations in our Orchard car park, near the Old Printery building and behind the Dairy (please see EV signs on the campus map), which are available for you to use if needed. There is a time limit (180 minutes). Please note the parking sites usually have high usage.
We also have Locky Dock e-bike charging stations outside the George Forbes building, which are also secure places to lock-up your cycle or scooter.
Signage will guide you to free parking on our campus. You will be guided from there to our Welcome Zone to check-in. At Lincoln we have specially priority parking for people who carpool.
If you need accommodation you can stay near to the University in Lincoln township or in Christchurch (Riccarton is a handy location to stay and is only about 25 mins drive).
Our campus sits in the Lincoln township, a friendly and thriving village with a population of around 4000, in the heart of Canterbury. It has cafes and pubs, as well as a supermarket and other shops and services.
