Lincoln University Food and Fibre Awards and Networking Dinner

Lincoln University is celebrating student achievement and career growth in the food and fibre sectors with an exciting on-campus event in May 2022.
Students and staff are invited to the inaugural Lincoln University Food and Fibre Awards and Networking Dinner, which offers an opportunity to recognise some of Lincoln’s highest academic achievers and allow students to build connections with potential future employers.
Scheduled to take place from 6-10.30pm*, the evening will kick off with a networking hour between 6-7pm, where student attendees can liaise with professionals from the industry of their choice.
An awards dinner will follow in the Te Kete Ika Dining Hall, with a panel of industry experts answering questions that have been pre-submitted by students after they register for the event.
Ticket holders will be able to choose an industry group that they would like to be seated with.
During the awards ceremony, nine certificates and prize money will be presented to second and third-year students in the following programmes, which aim to educate our future food and fibre sector leaders:
- Bachelor of Agricultural Science
- Bachelor of Agriculture
- Bachelor of Viticulture and Oenology
- Bachelor of Commerce
- Bachelor of Commerce (Agriculture)
- Bachelor of Land and Property Management
- Bachelor of Agribusiness and Food Marketing

B.linc Innovation He Puna Karikari, located on the Lincoln University campus, will be running networking training workshops to students who elect to attend the event. More information will be provided following registration.
*Please note that the LU Food and Fibre Awards and Networking Dinner will only proceed in Alert Level 1.
