Lincoln University is celebrating student achievement and career growth in the food and fibre sectors with an exciting on-campus event on 5 August 2022.
Students and staff are invited to the inaugural Lincoln University Food and Fibre Awards and Networking Dinner, which offers an opportunity to recognise some of Lincoln’s highest academic achievers and allow students to build connections with potential future employers.
Date: Friday 5 August 2022, 6.00pm – 10.30pm
Location: Te Kete Ika, Lincoln University
The evening begins with a networking hour between 6-7pm, where student attendees can liaise with professionals from the industry of their choice.
An awards dinner will follow in the Te Kete Ika Dining Hall, with a panel of industry experts answering questions that have been pre-submitted by students after they register for the event.
Ticket holders will be able to choose an industry group that they would like to be seated with.
During the awards ceremony, nine certificates and prize money will be presented to second and third-year students in the following programmes, which aim to educate our future food and fibre sector leaders:
- Bachelor of Agricultural Science
- Bachelor of Agriculture
- Bachelor of Viticulture and Oenology
- Bachelor of Commerce
- Bachelor of Commerce (Agriculture)
- Bachelor of Land and Property Management
- Bachelor of Agribusiness and Food Marketing
