MFAT Postgraduate Field Research Awards
Assists Masters and Doctoral students with their travel expenses and associated costs in carrying out field research on development issues of relevance to the New Zealand Aid Programme.

The awards fund field research costs of up to $4000 for Masters and up to $6000 for PhD.
Special Selection Criteria
Applicants must undertake appropriate field research of a minimum of four weeks as part of their post-graduate study. The funding prioritises research in the Pacific, but is open to other eligible research locations and themes that line up with the New Zealand Aid Programme Strategic Plan 2015-19.
