What you will learn

After successfully completing this course, students will be able to:

  • Explain the agronomic factors that affect yield and quality or arable or horticultural crops. A single crop or a range of crops may be studied within the course
  • Revise and critique aspects related to the agronomic management of the crops chosen. Aspects of agronomic management can be seedbed preparation, sowing time, pest and disease control, crop nutrition and harvest methods
  • Prepare literature reviews that will effectively communicate principles of crop management.
