We exist to facilitate excellent research and education to grow the knowledge of our students,  and help shape a world that benefits from a greater understanding of the relationships between land, food, and ecosystems.

With three academic faculties, one teaching division, several research centres and a range of corporate service units, we draw our students and staff from throughout New Zealand and more than 67countries around the world. We have a student roll of over 5,000 and approximately 600 staff.

As a progressive university with an ambitious vision, we value a professional workforce that reflects the diversity of our community. Our staff engage with students, parents, government, iwi, and external stakeholders, upholding Lincoln University's reputation through their work.

Our Te Tiriti o Waitangi commitments begin with mana whenua. We honour our special relationship with Ngāi Te Ruahikihiki and Te Taumutu Rūnanga, embedded in our He Tūtohinga Whakamātau | Charter of Understanding.

We are an Equal Opportunity Employer and have an active Equal Diversity and Inclusiveness committee.
