Hui Whakawhanaukataka | Orientation

Be sure to take part in Hui Whakawhanaukataka | Orientation, an important beginning to your Lincoln University experience.

Various Hui Whakawhanaukataka | Orientation events are held during the year, to mark the beginning of the first and second semesters and November Summer School.

Hui Whakawhanaukataka describes a time where you can establish new relationships and connections, of new beginnings. Whanaukataka, or creating a sense of belonging for our students, is one of the values we adhere to at Lincoln University, and Hui Whakawhanaukataka is an important start of that journey towards becoming part of our Lincoln University whānau.

It's a great way to discover how things work, meet fellow students, prepare for first lectures and find out about the support available to help you achieve your goals.

Student and staff safety and wellbeing is our top priority. We follow the MoE guidelines for Tertiary Education Organisations on operating under the COVID-19 Protection Framework (CPF)

  • A reminder that we require all students who are accessing campus to hold a My Vaccine Pass. Find more information here, along with information on how we can support you. Please also read the measures explained on our COVID-19 website for when you are on campus.

2022 Orientation Days
