Hui Whakawhanaukataka | Orientation

Be sure to take part in Hui Whakawhanaukataka | Orientation, an important start of your journey towards becoming part of our Lincoln University whānau.

Hui Whakawhanaukataka | Orientation events are held during the year, to mark the beginning of the first and second semesters and Summer School.

They will help you to:

  • Get key academic information
  • Ask questions in person
  • Find your way around campus
  • Become familiar with the support services available at Lincoln
  • Establish social connections with other students
  • And much more.

Our prospective students had a blast getting used to life at LU during O'Week 2023.

Prep Week, held each year as part of Orientation, supports new and returning students to gear up for semester 1.

Rā Whakawhanaukataka | Orientation Day is a great way for new students to connect with each other.

The Mihi Whakatau is LU's welcome for new students and staff. It's usually held on the first day of semester 1 lectures.

The students' association's Clubs Market Day gives newbies a chance to check out the range of clubs they can join at LU.
