What you will learn

After successfully completing this course, you’ll be able to:

  1. Give an overview of Aotearoa New Zealand’s geological and biological history.
  2. Give examples of the variety and uniqueness of Aotearoa | New Zealand’s ecosystems.
  3. Recognise Māori and other cultural perspectives on land, water, flora and fauna.
  4. Describe the causes and consequences of anthropogenic impacts on the environment in Aotearoa New Zealand.
  5. Give examples of environmental policies within Aotearoa New Zealand.
