The Ian and Kirsty Burnett Undergraduate Scholarship was established in 2024 by Kirsty Burnett to support students who are entering their second year of undergraduate study at Lincoln University.

The Ian and Kirsty Burnett Undergraduate Scholarship was established to support students who are entering their second year of study towards a Bachelor of Agriculture, Bachelor of Agriculture Science, Bachelor of Commerce (Horticulture) or Bachelor of Viticulture and Oenology degree or entering a Diploma in Farm Management or Diploma in Horticultural Management at Lincoln University.

Selection Criteria

  • Hardship barriers making continuing study difficult
  • Academic Merit (all first-year courses completed successfully)
  • Evidence of and/or planned activity to support the New Zealand Agriculture or Horticulture industries.

Availability

Full-time students:

  • in their second year of their Bachelor of Agriculture, Bachelor of Agriculture Science, Bachelor of Commerce (Agricultural or Horticulture) or Bachelor of Viticulture and Oenology degree, or
  • or in a Diploma in Farm Management or Diploma in Horticultural Management.

Applicants must be New Zealand Citizens or Permanent Residents.
