  1. Construct procedural and object-oriented programs.
  2. Design implementable database schemas.
  3. Explain and apply appropriate industry standard software engineering methodologies.
  4. Validate programs including testing and debugging, using a range of software engineering methods and tools.
  5. Critically review and discuss the ethical issues in software development.
