Lincoln University Tihi Kahuraki Scholarship
This scholarship supports Māori students who are entering their first year of undergraduate study and who show strong leadership and engagement in their whānau, hapū, marae or community.
Maximum of $19,000 per year for three years to cover on-campus accommodation costs (up to $12,000) and tuition fees (up to $7000).
Applicants must have demonstrated leadership potential in the Māori community.
You will need to submit:
- A two-minute video demonstrating your involvement in whānau, hapū or community activities
- A list outlining your leadership in projects (mahika kai, marae, hapū, whenua, kapa haka, te reo or mana korero) environmental or other culturally significant activities
- Two references (one character reference and one academic reference).
