Alumni compete in latest Young Farmer challenge

Lincoln alumnus Braydon Schroder, was battling it out in the FMG Young Farmer of the Year competition Waikato/BOP Regional Final last weekend in Tauranga along with Lincoln graduate Sarah Greenwood.

Sarah and Braydon both have Bachelor of Agricultural Science Degrees with Honours, from Lincoln University.

Braydon is a farm supervisor and consultant for Perrin Ag Consultants in Rotorua, while Sarah is an animal nutrition sales representative at Agrifeeds in South East Waikato.

Sarah spent two years in the Fonterra Agribusiness graduate programme, in the service quality team, before moving to the Mycoplasma Bovis team as an Incident Control Point Manager.

Braydon also runs a side business investing in Holstein Friesians and prepping dairy cattle for other breeders.

Kieran McCahon won the regional event and will be in the grand final in July.
