Fruitful outcome for business and finance graduand

28 April 2021 | Students News

Megha Sharma, who will graduate with a Master of Business (Finance) this year, has already begun work as a Banking Specialist for Westpac.

“I am extremely happy and excited about this achievement,” she says. “Fortunately, with God’s grace, my husband’s support, my parents’ continuous motivation and my dedication, I have had a fruitful result.”

Megha will receive her Master of Business (Finance) at the Lincoln University Graduation Ceremony on 14 May in the Christchurch Town Hall.

She enjoyed the master’s programme, in spite of “unavoidable circumstances” relating to Covid-19, lockdowns and online learning.

However, the Faculty of Agribusiness and Commerce served as an excellent support system for her.

“Anytime I tried to get in touch with them by phone or email, I received a quick response.”

In addition to excelling in her studies, Megha was an active representative for the Lincoln University Students’ Association during Semester 2, 2020.

She says the university offered her a “beautiful journey, with lots of knowledge and learning”.
