The latest episode of the [email protected] podcast investigates the factors involved in building a career.
The podcast is dedicated to highlighting Lincoln research, and in the newest edition, host Dr Hafsa Ahmed speaks with Dr Mohini Vidwans, a lecturer in the Department of Global Value Chains and Trade.
Dr Vidwans, whose research interests cover careers and gender, discusses a career crafting matrix that she has developed.
She talks about factors that can be controlled, such as decision-making and completing tasks, how to deal with what cannot be controlled, and the importance of being aware of what you want to achieve.
She also shares information about the first Māori accountant and female accountants who became trailblazers across the world.
