Dr Hafsa Ahmed.

Her Influencers@Lincoln podcast is a monthly programme that explores the world-class research being carried out at Lincoln University.

Dr Ahmed, a lecturer in the Department of Global Value Chains and Trade at Lincoln, talks with colleagues and students about their work and how it addresses some of the issues facing our food and fibre sector, New Zealand at large and the rest of the world.

She interviewed Lincoln University Provost, Professor Chad Hewitt, for January's episode, while a discussion with Deputy Vice-Chancellor Student Life, Damian Lodge, has been recorded for February.

Professor Hewitt discusses his role at Lincoln as well as a previous position at a marine institution, and how Lincoln has a strong focus on research-led teaching and collaboration with stakeholders.

Dr Ahmed said it had already been picked up by five community-access radio stations across the country, and explores topics such as the significance of karakia.
