After successfully completing this course, you’ll be able to:

  1. Evaluate the major components involved in the management of farming systems and the importance of these components to the success of the business.
  2. Summarise the theories of industry development and governance of farm businesses.
  3. Explain the business structures available to farming businesses.
  4. Appraise staff management practices on large scale farms in New Zealand.
  5. Evaluate the accounts of large-scale farming businesses.
  6. Appraise a range of standardized operating and monitoring procedures on large scale farming enterprises.
