What you will learn
After successfully completing this course, you’ll be able to:
- Critically analyse key concepts relating to labour management including labour market assessment, New Zealand labour law, employer-employee relationships and working with migrants.
- Analyse and create material that relates to ‘Human Resources’ activities such as recruitment, engagement, induction, performance review, disputes, dismissals and personal grievances through the completion of assigned tasks.
- Review and summarise relevant literature, create novel insights (research project), write a report and present their findings.
- Career planning skills through their ability to express their career aspirations and incorporation of these within the course activities.
