What you will learn
After successfully completing this course, you’ll be able to:
- Demonstrate an understanding of the use of Aotearoa-New Zealand native plants and exotic plants in parks and gardens.
- Show an understanding of hedges and shelter, and their establishment and maintenance.
- Understand how ground cover plants, climbers, perennial and annual plants are used in Aotearoa-New Zealand gardens.
- Describe and explain good maintenance and pruning practices for select plant groups.
