Applied Urban Valuation

Course overview

You’ll build on the previous knowledge gained on the theory of valuation, particularly that gained in VAPM209. The theory will be put into practical application with three fieldtrips and assignments involving a range of residential property types.

What you will learn

After successfully completing this course, you’ll be able to:

  1. Apply appropriate valuation methodology across various urban property types with a focus on residential property.
  2. Prepare a valuation report that complies with valuation standards.
  3. Identify, validate and analyse relevant data necessary to complete a valuation.
  4. Identify and evaluate the legal interests in a property being valued.
