You’ll be introduced to the fundamental accounting concepts, and develop the ability to record transactional data using a double-entry bookkeeping system.

What you will learn

After successfully completing this course, you’ll be able to: 

  1. Apply fundamental financial accounting concepts and techniques to different types of financial transactions and business entities, including double-entry bookkeeping and accrual accounting.
  2. Demonstrate how to account for inventories, and property, plant and equipment.
  3. Prepare a bank reconciliation.
  4. Prepare financial statements for different types of business entities.
