What you will learn

After successfully completing this course, you’ll be able to:

  1. Explain management accounting conceptual issues and behavioural implications.
  2. Acknowledge the steps in decision making.
  3. Be familiar with budgets and the budgeting process.
  4. Describe cost behaviours and various types of costing methods and variance analysis.
  5. Discuss capital expenditure, inventory and pricing decisions.
  6. Evaluate performance measurement systems.
  7. Apply fundamental cost and management accounting concepts to specific management accounting issues.
  8. Carry out analysis and evaluation of performance measurement systems.
