What you will learn

After successfully completing this course, you’ll be able to:

  1. Describe the design characteristics of a range of basic hard materials and when best to use them.
  2. Demonstrate a range of options for designing with levels in relation to specific site design requirements.
  3. Illustrate appropriate design ideas through models, plans, sections and technical specifications.
  4. Determine the effects of site and natural systems on structures and materials when effectively designing the built landscape.
