  • Demonstrate an understanding of agricultural production systems and its support industry in Aotearoa New Zealand.

  • Understand the key management concepts required to operate whole business systems in the New Zealand agricultural industry.

  • Develop the skills required to use key physical and financial analysis tools in business management.

  • Apply effective organisational and time management skills and recognise the need to maintain confidences when dealing with people in agriculture and their personal and business information.
