You’ll grow your knowledge of farming systems in Aotearoa-New Zealand and the multi-disciplinary nature of agriculture, and will take a close look at commercial management, production economics and enterprise budgeting.

What you will learn
After successfully completing this course, you’ll be able to:
Demonstrate an understanding of agricultural production systems and its support industry in Aotearoa-New Zealand.
Understand the key management concepts required to operate whole business systems in the New Zealand agricultural industry.
Develop the skills required to use key physical and financial analysis tools in business management.
Apply effective organizational and time management skills and recognize the need to maintain confidences when dealing with people in agriculture and their personal and business information.
