You’ll conduct an international review of the historical relationship between design and culture. In particular, you’ll examine urban design history and its relevance to contemporary design and practice.

- Describe a range of important examples of international landscape, architectural and urban design.
- Explain the evolution of the relationship between architecture, landscape architecture and urban design.
- Interpret landscape and urban design concepts from different cultures, contexts and situations.
- Illustrate landscape and urban design concepts in the Aotearoa New Zealand context.
