What you will learn
After successfully completing this course, you’ll be able to:
- Explain the main methods of plant propagation.
- Demonstrate an understanding of the effect of variables on cutting propagation and grafting. These include propagation facilities, stock plants, plant health, seasonality and age.
- Show that you understand the factors that influence successful propagation by seed.
- Demonstrate an understanding of the principles and practices involved in growing plants in containers, plant nutrition and nursery hygiene.
