What you will learn

After successfully completing this course, you’ll be able to:

  1. Identify and critically review current trends in food and the food industry.
  2. Review and compare practical attitudes of NZ food companies to innovation.
  3. Critically assess the different techniques used by NZ food industries to adapt their processes and products to meet consumer demands of the future.
  4. Develop your understanding of the factors that influence food innovation in New Zealand and around the world.
