The Burnett Scholarship was established in 2020 to support a student undertaking research with a science focus that would benefit agricultural science in New Zealand.

Special Selection Criteria
Applicants with research relevant and of benefit to the McKenzie District will be given preference.
Applicants who are enrolled and currently studying in, or who have gained entry to the Bachelor of Agricultural Science (Honours), Bachelor of Science (Honours), the thesis year of a Master's degree or Doctor of Philosophy at Lincoln University may apply.
Applicants shall be undertaking or planning to undertake an area of research which is aligned with the purpose of the scholarship.
