MPI On Farm Support science scholarships
Scholarships are available for students at Lincoln university interested in working as advisers in the primary sector and help increase the number of on-farm advisers.
Six scholarships are on offer for the 2025 academic year. Applications opened on 19 August.

Selection Criteria
- enrolled at Lincoln University
- studying agriculture or horticulture in one of the approved degrees listed on this page
- interested in joining the primary industry advisory sector
- a New Zealand citizen or permanent resident, and
- have completed their first year of study before the start of the 2025 academic year

- Bachelor of Agribusiness and Food Marketing
- Bachelor of Agricultural Science
- Bachelor of Agriculture
- Bachelor of Science (Animal Science or Plant and Horticultural Science)
- Bachelor of Commerce (Agriculture)
- Bachelor of Commerce (Agriculture and Professional Accounting)
- Bachelor of Commerce (Horticulture)

We must get your application, including supporting documents, by 5pm on 16 September 2024. Late applications will not be accepted.

Interviews for shortlisted applicants will start in late September. Successful scholarship recipients will be notified in October 2024.
