The Rhondda Moffitt Memorial Scholarship in Agricultural Economics

Established in 2022 to support a postgraduate student undertaking research in the area of Agricultural Economics and policy; or studying consumer markets in agriculture, horticulture, food and fibre.

This scholarship is named in honour of the late Rhondda Moffitt QSM. Rhondda was a ‘stalwart’ of Canterbury netball and was awarded the Queen’s Service Medal for her many years of valuable service and volunteering to netball.

It is hoped that recipients of the Rhondda Moffitt scholarship will benefit from philanthropic support enabling them to concentrate on their studies and do well in their careers.
