  1. Evaluate the role of EIA in environmental decision making.
  2. Specify terms of reference for an EIA process.
  3. Critically analyse methods used in EIA.
  4. Apply methods from their own disciplinary area in preparation of EIAs.
  5. Evaluate EIA reports.
