E.P. Parcell Memorial Scholarship

The E.P. Parcell Scholarship was established by Lois Gilchrist in memory of Flying Officer Erroll Philip Parcell a former student who died on active service in World War II in Burma.


The annual value of the scholarship shall be determined by the Vice-Chancellor.

Current value: $2,500

Selection Criteria

  • Applicant must be from the Southland region.
  • Applicant must be studying Agriculture, excluding live animal experimentation or vivisection.
