Lincoln’s Postgraduate Certificate in Applied Science expands your knowledge and expertise with a flexible programme of learning that lets you select courses from our advanced Master’s programmes in Science, Applied Science, Agricultural Science and Horticultural Science.
You can even use the Postgraduate Certificate as a way to staircase your learning toward a Postgraduate Diploma or Master’s degree.

- Completion of a relevant New Zealand level 7 bachelor’s degree or recognised equivalent with a B- average or better in the 300 level and final year (full-time equivalent) courses

Programme Structure
This is normally a single semester, full-time study qualification. You’re required to achieve 60 credits from the schedule of courses, matching the regulations of the relevant master’s degree.
The Postgraduate Certificate in Applied Science is a highly flexible programme.
You can select courses from Lincoln University’s Master’s programmes in Agricultural Science, Horticultural Science, Applied Science and Science.
